    Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) Supervisor – Champion Safety & Standards in Food Service!

     

    Are you a food safety professional who thrives on consistency, compliance, and care? Join our team as an FSQA Supervisor and take an active role in ensuring that every meal we produce is safe, high-quality, and meets the highest standards. At the heart of our culinary operation, your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help protect our consumers and support our mission.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Support daily food safety and sanitation practices within the culinary center

    + Monitor and enforce compliance with HACCP, allergen protocols, and company food safety programs

    + Conduct routine inspections, line checks, and sanitation verifications to ensure food safety readiness

    + Train and coach staff in best food handling practices, hygiene standards, and safety procedures

    + Maintain accurate FSQA documentation, including temperature logs, cleaning schedules, and audit records

    + Assist in internal audits, third-party inspections, and corrective action implementation

    + Partner with culinary and operations teams to support a culture of quality, accountability, and improvement

    We’re Looking For:

    + 1–3 years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, or foodservice operations

    + Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, SOPs, and relevant food safety regulations (FDA, USDA, DOH)

    + Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and documentation accuracy

    + Effective communicator and team player who can train and motivate others

    + ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain); HACCP training a p referred

    Payrate- $20-$22 per hour- based on experience

    Requirements

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

    Education :

    + Bachelor’s degree in food , chemistry, biology or related sciences

    Certifications :

    + HACCP certification

    Computer Skills :

    + Proficient with all computer applications in order to perform the job

    Other Qualifications, Experience :

    + Minimum 5 years’ experience as a QA Manager in a high-speed multi product lines facility, preferably USDA inspected.

    + Experience with creating and managing a HACCP Program.

    + Experience in a complex (Union) operational environment

    + Ability to mentor and build strong teams while effecting a positive culture change

    + Must be Self-motivated, have a strong sense of urgency and a bias for action

    + Must be flexible in challenging and complex work environment while firmly maintaining compliance and upholding standards

    + Excellent verbal and written communications skill . Knowledge of Spanish is preferable.

    + Ability to conceptualize practical quality and safety solutions to complex operational systems.

    + Proven ability to maintain integrity in a fast paced and challenging environment

    + Ability to analyze and process high volumes of information; manage priorities; follow through

    + While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently required Sit, walk, talk and hear

    + Use hands and fingers to feel, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.

    + Be standing on feet majority of the workday in addition to walking back and forth.

    + Lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Lifting while turning side to side is sometimes necessary.

    + Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

     

    Position sometimes requires extended hours including evenings and/or weekends, travel to multiple work sites and occasional out-of-state travel .

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    + The work is performed primarily in a manufacturing and warehouse environment, specifically the packing and warehousing areas

    + Standing most of the workday is required .

    + Work requires movement in and out of storerooms , near heavy machinery and freezers

    + Exposure to extreme temperatures (hot and cold) due to cooking and refrigeration equipment.

    + The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
