    Job Summary

    Reports to Culinary Management for 310 Provisions at Intuit Dome. Directly supervises food-service associates in accordance with policies, procedures and applicable laws. Prepares food in accordance with applicable federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations with established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service is always provided. Maintains 310 Provisions sushi standards and specifications related to food preparation and food handling daily, understands measurement requirements.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    + Knowledge of some pastry techniques, scaling, mixing, proofing, baking, decorating, finishing

    + Portions and arranges food on serving dishes and is responsible for portion control and plate presentation

    + May cook, mix and/or season ingredients when preparing bakery items (i.e. muffins, Danishes, cakes, restaurant items, banquet orders, ice cream or sorbet)

    + Ability to prepare products according to recipe guidelines

    + Knowledge and understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation including temperature requirements

    + Has good judgment of food quality and production, understands the impact of spoilage

    + Ability to assist Chef in preparing items for Guests with special dietary needs

    + Knowledge and understanding of tools, measurements, ingredients, equipment, small wares and cooking required for a bakery

    + Cleans kitchen equipment and practices HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) procedures

    + Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.

    + Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

     

    Skills and Qualifications

     

    + Passion for Culinary and delighting our Guests with food!

    + Minimum 2 years’ experience in culinary field with a focus on high volume production

    + Culinary Education Degree or equivalent experience required with less than 2 years’ experience

    + Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role

    + Proficient knife skills

    + Proven knowledge of culinary techniques and terminology

    + Proven ability to read and understand recipes

    + Organizational skills: Ability to multitask and work in a very fast paced team environment

    + Speed, accuracy and efficiency are required and ability to work well under pressure

    + Ability to adapt to production requirements

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Vocation School training or High School certification

    + Culinary Education Degree or equivalent

    + Certification from CIA or equivalent

    + Recommendation from school
