Quality Control Chemistry Analyst II - Berkeley, CA
PURPOSE
This position provides “hands-on” support of quality control logistical and/or testing activities for drug products manufactured in accordance with cGMP according to Bayer procedures and specifications.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Provide a “hands on” capacity for the performance of routine QC logistical or testing activities under the supervision of more senior personnel;
+ Perform all activities in a manner consistent with cGMP requirements;
+ Keep accurate documentation;
+ Accurately follow relevant SOPs;
+ Seek input from more senior team members for the performance of assignments as needed;
+ Demonstrate the ability to learn new skills and achieve proficiency.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Bachelor’s Degree in science or technical field;
+ Experience performing relevant activities including working in a cGMP compliant environment;
+ Ability to learn new skills rapidly;
+ Attention to detail;
+ Ability to work efficiently;
+ Ability to follow instructions and SOPs precisely;
+ Good interpersonal skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ At least 4 years of experience performing relevant activities including working in a cGMP compliant environment.
+ HPLC experience.
+ Experience with Inductively Coupled Optical Spectroscopy (ICP) for elemental analysis.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $76,240.00 to $114,361.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc..
This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
