ENGINEER – Engineer Development Leadership Program - MO6
PURPOSE
Radiology Device R&D and Product Supply are offering an Engineering Rotational Program which is designed to enhance expertise, and to provide a catalyst for a successful career within Radiology.
Participants will have the opportunities to broaden their experience and understanding of medical device product development and manufacturing up through product registration and delivery to customers.
The program is designed to develop talents by completing a 24 to 36 month rotational
program across the United States and potentially abroad. Employees will gain insight into various aspects of the Radiology organization through 2-3 assignments in at various Bayer locations. This will include continuous mentorship from a seasoned leader of the organization.
_This position is only for Engineers in Bayer Radiology Device R&D and Product Supply and have a job grade of MO6._
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
During this program, the employee will be given the opportunity to make key contributions in the following areas:
+ Engage with business leaders including rotation managers, mentors, and those assisting development into technical and leadership skills;
+ Delivering on business results and completing projects/objectives laid out in each rotation;
+ Immerse yourself in several rotations across the R&D and Product Supply divisions;
+ Provide consultative feedback to improve quality and reduce costs to organizations within Radiology;
+ Share insights and learnings with the broader organization for continuous improvement of the ELDP;
+ Support projects across business units as needed.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent that processes the following:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Must be employed by Bayer for at least 2 years;
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 2 years of applicable work experience
+ Knowledge and application of engineering and scientific concepts in selected technical discipline;
+ Basic knowledge of other technical disciplines;
+ Applies basic tools, methodologies and technologies;
+ Working knowledge and proven skills of PC computer system including Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
