PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced **Liaison Engineer** to support aerospace manufacturing operations in **Mascoutah, IL** . This is your opportunity to solve complex technical challenges while ensuring the safe, efficient production of next-generation aircraft.

Position Details

+ **Job Type:** Full-Time, 6-Month Contract

+ **Location:** Mascoutah, IL

+ **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 3rd Shift (10:30 PM – 7:00 AM)

Position Summary

As a **Liaison Engineer** , you will serve as the frontline problem-solver on the production floor, resolving design and process issues that arise during aircraft build. Your engineering expertise will drive continuous improvement, ensuring quality, safety, and performance from production through post-delivery.

What You’ll Do

+ Assess and resolve product and process issues across the aircraft lifecycle

+ Conduct root cause analysis and implement design non-conformance resolutions

+ Develop interim and final repair solutions for nonconforming structures and systems

+ Analyze technical problems with safety considerations in mind

+ Lead product/process improvement initiatives and participate in design reviews

+ Support on-site repair teams and provide field investigation guidance

+ Create technical training and procedural documentation

+ Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline

+ 9+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education/experience)

+ Previous **MRB certification**

+ Strong experience supporting production/manufacturing environments

+ **Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.**

Preferred Qualifications

+ Previous experience in aerospace design, structural repairs, or production engineering

+ Experience with non-destructive testing procedures and tools

+ Familiarity with military and aerospace standards and practices

+ ABET-accredited engineering degree preferred

**Pay Details:** $65.99 to $78.00 per hour
