About E&T:

The Caterpillar Energy & Transportation Segment (E&T) has a broad portfolio of products and services which include engines, generator sets, industrial gas turbines and locomotives, along with other related equipment depending on the industry and application. We deliver these products and services to Cat machine, oil & gas, power generation, transportation and industrial customers.

Job Summary:

Leads and manages internal and external business relationships to ensure and enact each functional piece of new unique customer solutions in the Energy Systems space.

What You Will Do:

+ Understanding of business model and acting within the business process guidance on review and approval for variance programs and commercial actions.

+ Designing and assisting strategy planning, and sales techniques; supporting the rollout of new offerings.

+ Performing regular reviews with potential subcontractors

+ Leading the project, vendor, subcontractor, partner, research, and equipment selection processes in preparation of each solution or offering

What You Have:

**Customer Focus:** Extensive experience and knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.

**Industry Knowledge:** Working knowledge of the organization's industry group, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

**Negotiating:** Working knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.

**Relationship Management:** Extensive experience and knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Additional Information:

+ This position is located in Dallas, TX and does not offer relocation

+ This position requires 5-day-a-week in-office availability

+ Travel is expected up to 30% of the time throughout North America

Summary Pay Range:

$126,000.00 - $189,000.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
