To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as an Aircraft Maintenance Technical Publications Specialist in our Maintenance Department. The primary responsibility of the position is the distribution of new and revised technical publications contained in the manual suite as directed by the Manager, Technical Publications. The successful candidate will have prior administrative/clerical experience, be extremely detail orientated, and have advanced abilities in various computer software programs. This position will report to the Manager, Aircraft Maintenance Technical Publications.

Essential Duties:

+ Maintain a list of current copy holders of distributed manuals

+ Audit copy holder receipt of distributed manuals and revisions

+ Audit and maintain a list of the current revision status of all distributed manuals

+ Coordinate with the appropriate vendors and manufacturers to ensure that the company is receiving adequate revision services

+ Maintain a backup or master set of distributed manuals

+ Perform other administrative tasks and projects as needed

Job Qualifications and Competencies:

+ Prior administrative and/or clerical experience

+ Excellent attention to detail

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Strong knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures

+ Advanced ability with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat programs

+ Exceptional typing, data entry, and file management skills

+ Willingness to learn and use various computer programs

+ Flexibility to work and organize multiple assignments, and meet project deadlines

+ Teamwork oriented attitude to achieve departmental and company goals

Preferred Qualifications:

+ College degree in related field

Work Environment:

+ Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment

Physical Requirements:

+ Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds

Starting Rate:

$43,000.00/Annual Salary - 46,000.00/Annual Salary (Based on locale and experience)
