Job Title: Warehouse Manager Department: Operations Reports To: Location Operations Manager Job Summary The Warehouse Manager will oversee the daily operations of our warehouse to ensure efficient receipt, storage, staging, and dispatch of high-end security and smart home technology equipment. This leadership role ensures optimal inventory control, team management, and process improvement while delivering exceptional internal service to field and project teams. The Warehouse Manager is expected to embody and promote the company s six core values collaborative, accountable, proactive, curious, passionate, and creative in every aspect of the role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Leads and develops a high-performing warehouse team through clear communication, mentorship, and mutual respect. · Works closely with Purchasing, Project Management, Field Services, and Sales to ensure inventory is aligned with project timelines and priorities. · Promotes a culture of teamwork across all departments to support efficient operations and exceptional client service. · Manages all warehouse activities including receiving, storing, inventory control, order staging, and shipping with precision and transparency. · Ensures adherence to safety standards, warehouse protocols, and company policies. · Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory accuracy, staging timelines, and order fulfillment quality. · Anticipates inventory needs based on project forecasts and business growth; communicate shortages or overstock risks before they impact operations. · Identifies bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or potential disruptions and resolve them before they escalate. · Maintains a proactive maintenance and cleanliness schedule for warehouse organization and safety. · Explores new inventory management tools and warehouse technologies that improve operational effectiveness. · Actively support the company s mission by ensuring materials and logistics are handled with care and excellence. · Creates innovate warehouse layouts, racking systems, and workflows that enhance speed, accuracy, and space utilization. · Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications · High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or equivalent training/certification preferred · 5+ years of 5+ years of warehouse or inventory management experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role Knowledge, Skills & Abilities · Strong working knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., NetSuite) · Ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced, project-driven environment · Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills · Ability to learn our most utilized parts as well as be able to identify most of equipment utilized by the technicians · Navigate the warehouse and organize it efficiently is key · Basic computer skills with the ability to become competent in-house job management software · Ability to organize large projects with several hundred pieces Physical Requirements · Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 60 lbs. · May require standing or stooping for extended periods · Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
