    Responsibilities

    We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiology Technologist to join our team at a Family Medicine Clinic in Iowa. This role is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, safety, and clinical excellence.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Perform routine diagnostic radiologic procedures (X-rays) as ordered by providers

    + Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality

    + Maintain and operate radiology equipment in accordance with safety protocols

    + Observe strict radiation safety guidelines for patients, staff, and self

    + Obtain patient history and explain procedures clearly to ensure patient comfort

    + Document procedures and upload images accurately within the EMR system

    + Assist clinical team with patient care tasks as needed (e.g., rooming, vitals)

    + Communicate effectively with physicians and clinical staff regarding imaging needs

    + Maintain compliance with clinic policies, state regulations, and HIPAA standards

    + Participate in ongoing education and certification updates

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiologic technology

    + Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

    + Valid Iowa Permit to Practice Radiography (issued by the Iowa Department of Public Health)

    + Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

    + Completion of Mandatory Reporter training (dependent adult and child abuse)

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    + Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team

    + Proficient in using electronic medical records and radiology systems
