Role and Responsibilities:
+ Process daily returns in accordance with the customer return policy.
+ Ensure that all product transfers are received.
+ Daily morning drops for the production team.
+ Select and stage G&C, Wegmans and DTYM outbound orders.
+ Inspect products daily for wholesomeness and proper expiration dates.
+ Accurately check in products, ensuring quality control regarding expiration dates, temperature requirements, and box integrity.
+ Communicate any changes to purchase orders with the purchasing department, including early or late deliveries, shortages, overages, and quality issues.
+ Salvage damaged goods and items nearing expiration.
+ Splits produced every day based on need.
+ Balance a short list of inventory projects and complete them in a timely fashion.
+ Ensure W.I.P. (work in progress) inventory is adjusted and corrected bi-weekly.
+ Assist management with month end cycle counts.
+ Let down and put away the product.
+ Manage product hold and release tags; “sample lots”
+ Organize and store products appropriately.
+ Complete daily cleaning assignments. Ie; boxes, sweeping and damaged pallet removal.
+ Be a reliable and cooperative team player, ready to fill in as needed and fully engage in the work environment. Show a willingness to learn new skills for professional growth and company advancement.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma/GED.
+ Intermediate skills in Microsoft suite.
+ Basic reading, writing and math skills.
+ Experience using inventory or warehousing systems.
+ Must be able to lift up to 50 LBS.
+ Complete all 3 PIT certifications at PFS.
+ Office clerical skills and knowledge of computers and target system.
+ Comfortable with machinery reaching heights of 25 ft.
+ Ability to perform duties in freezer and coolers.
Salary Range
+ $17.00 - $20.00 / hour
Shift:
+ Monday- Friday 7:30 AM- 4:30 PM
Physical Demands:
+ Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, sit, operate warehouse equipment.
+ Must be able to use hands to handle, feel, finger; reach with hands and arms, see, talk and hear.
+ Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
+ Possess normal vision with or without correction and able to distinguish colors.
+ Possess fluent speech in English, writing and communication skills necessary to effectively carry out job functions.
+ Must be able to read and comprehend work related materials, numerical data and diagrams.
+ Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
+ Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods with temperatures reaching -10.
