Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

This role is part of our Youth & Recreational Sports group, comprised of technology platforms such as SportsEngine (https://www.sportsengine.com/solutions) HQ, SportsEngine Motion (https://www.gomotionapp.com/solutions) , SportsEngine Play (https://www.sportsengine.com/play) and SportsEngine Tourney. (https://www.tourneymachine.com/Home.aspx) We enable athletes, parents, coaches and team administrators in the youth and recreational space to manage their organizations, collect payments, share schedules, find programs to participate in and connect with other families. Additionally, NCSI (https://solutions.ncsisafe.com/#home-banner) enables leagues and organizations to properly screen and train coaches in an effort to keep kids safe.
Job Duties
+ Engage and consult with sports administrators to help them identify meaningful ways to improve their organizations with SportsEngine software.
+ Develop a deep understanding of the industry, sports administrators, our sales strategy, and leverage provided tech stack to execute high touch, high-quality activity cadence resulting in 80+ customer interactions daily.
+ Create interest with customers directly via phone, email, text, video calls, and other forms of communication learning about their challenges, position our products as solutions, and ultimately create new selling opportunities.
+ Own your results. Unwavering personal daily effort standards so that coaching centers around goals, sales skills & career growth.
+ Continue to gain advanced product and market knowledge to differentiate yourself and SportsEngine as both a technical and business fit.
+ Build trusting relationships with Sales Representatives to execute the territory and sport vertical plan.
+ Collaborate with the entire sales team to support assigned territory and facilitate the overall success of the team.
+ Maintain accurate daily record of sales activity using Salesforce and sales engagement/automation platforms such as Outreach.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Requirements
+ 1+ years’ experience in sales, a plus
+ Demonstrated passion for sales, learning, and growth
+ Excellent written & verbal communication skills
+ Strong work ethic to effectively manage your time to drive growth within your territory, generally 80+ sales engagements each day
+ Demonstrated multi-tasking abilities with consistent and timely follow-through all while achieving goals
+ Strive for honest, transparent, and accurate communication - always over deliver
+ Ability to exercise independent judgment while taking great pride in your work
+ Empathetic, solutions-oriented and a true passion to serve customers
+ A self-starter who embraces change; a problem solver and team player
+ Help develop and deliver outreach strategies to create sales opportunities
Desired Qualifications
+ Demonstrated ability to accept coaching and feedback, as well as use feedback to pivot and grow
+ Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment to effectively manage your time to yield sales within assigned territory
+ Experience collaborating with and supporting colleagues, within sales and cross departmentally
+ Demonstrate a sense of urgency and ownership thinking
+ Previous customer service, support or client facing experience
+ Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM (Strongly Preferred)
+ College degree or equivalent experience
+ Understanding/experience with sales engagement platforms such as Tout, Outreach, or SalesLoft
Additional Requirements
+ Willingness to travel and work overtime, including evenings and weekends, sometimes with short notice.
+ Must be willing to work in Orlando, FL
+ This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
