    You will be the Manufacturing Engineer for our team\. Our team is responsible for designing and implementing manufacturing processes and equipment to meet production rate requirements\. We develop and document manufacturing tooling and equipment, ensuring efficient and high\-quality production\.

    What You Will Be Doing

    As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and documenting manufacturing tooling and equipment\. Your responsibilities will include:

     

    •Developing work instructions and tooling/equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications

    •Creating complete technical data packages for fabrication and assembly of end items

    •Interpreting complex engineering drawings and applying knowledge of machine/tool design

    •Collaborating with the team to develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures

    Basic Qualifications:

    \- Knowledgeable of General Manufacturing Processes

     

    \- Knowledgeable of Engineering Materials

     

    \- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings

     

    \- Knowledgeable of Machine/Tool design\.

     

    \- Proficient with MSOffice suite

     

    \- This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen\.

    Desired Skills:

    Performs in a collaborative environment to develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling\.

     

    Drives adoption of new technologies and processes \(automation, robotics, computer aided manufacturing software, etc\.\) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement\.

     

    Creates and analyzes 3D based model data environment to optimize manufacturing process and digital work instructions\.

     

    Leverages understanding of materials and automatic processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence\.

     

    Ability to identify and solve complex issues on HIMARS launchers

    Experience and knowledge of how HIMARS operates and the testing of the systems

    **Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.

    **Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

    **Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
