The Opportunity
Our diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories, and clinics around the globe. The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments, and informatics systems is often the first step in patient care decision-making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers.
Our **Lake County, IL** office is hiring for a **Manager, Warehouse Management System.**
They will be responsible fo **r** understanding end-to-end design, implementation, and continuous improvement of warehouse processes, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and leveraging the WMS effectively. They will be the central point of contact for all stakeholders involved in the warehouse operations, fostering collaboration and driving efficiency across sites on improvement opportunities to ensure adherence to global template/design.
Responsibilities
+ Responsible for defining and optimizing warehouse processes within WMS tool, including inbound receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and outbound shipping. Partner with support operations (e.g. Quality, Customs, Logistics) for optimization of processes within the warehouse.
+ Work closely and partner with IT and other stakeholders to implement, configure, and customize the WMS to meet specific business needs and improve efficiency.
+ Ensures that warehouse processes are consistent, standardized and lead the harmonization of WMS across all locations, promoting best practices, industry standards and reducing errors.
+ Manages the planning and execution of capital/expense projects required for the continued alignment of WMS base design functions as business needs change.
+ Provides alternate WMS solutions that can be successfully implemented for launching multiple products within overlapping timelines and elevating options to senior leadership for alignment.
+ Confirms that master data within the WMS is functioning as planned and can be used effectively to support operational processes
+ Develop, track and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational reports related to warehouse activities and provide regular reports to management.
+ Identifies areas for improvement in warehouse operations, understands acceptable design variations within the WMS and drives initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
+ Understand internal and external (global) compliance requirements in the distribution/transportation of medical device products (including but not limited to hazardous materials and cold chain products).
Education and Experience
Required
+ Bachelor’s degree required in related field (Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, etc.)
+ 6+ years of experience in relevant field such as warehousing, logistics, and/or supply chain management
+ Demonstrates analytical, problem solving, and influencing skills
Preferred
+ Master’s degree preferred
+ Direct experience in WMS implementation, deployment and sustainment (ideally experience with Manhattan or other leading WMS solution).
+ Direct experience in identifying and driving change, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
+ Program Management or Lean Six Sigma skills.
+ Ability to work in a matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
+ Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish results.

The base pay for this position is $97,300.00 – $194,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
