    Kelly Services is Hiring – Material Handler | Maryland Heights, MO

     

    Contract-to-Hire | $18/hour | 1st Shift (6 AM – 2 PM, Monday–Friday)

     

    Kelly Services is partnering with a growing manufacturing client in **Maryland Heights, MO (63146)** to find a reliable and motivated **Material Handler** to join their team! This is a **contract-to-hire** opportunity with a company known for its sustainable printing solutions and commitment to operational excellence.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + **Material Handling:** Read shipping orders and move materials to production or storage areas.

    + **Inventory Control:** Organize and label inventory, assist with cycle counts and year-end inventory.

    + **Equipment Operation:** Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and other material-handling equipment (training provided).

    + **Shipping & Receiving:** Load/unload trucks, prepare shipping documents, and manage inbound/outbound shipments.

    + **Coordination & Admin:** Work with carriers, assist with scheduling, data entry, and maintain dock cleanliness.

    + **Team Support:** Help train teammates and participate in safety and process improvement initiatives.

    Requirements:

    + High School Diploma or GED

    + Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

    + Ability to lift 20–30 lbs frequently, up to 70 lbs occasionally

    + Must be able to stand/move throughout the shift

    + Comfortable using computers and handling basic data entry

    + Able to pass a drug screen and background check

    + Detail-oriented with excellent work habits focused on quality.

    + Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends if needed.

    + Ability to work well with others.

    + Must pass a drug screen and background check.

    + Must have transportation
