    Description

    The Marketing Partner is a responsible professional with a keen sense for marketing, strong planning and project management skills, a collaborative mindset, and an eagerness to grow in their marketing career.

     

    As a Marketing Partner for Student Lending reporting into the Student Lending Growth Strategist, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and management of marketing activities in channels such as direct mail, digital media (social, display, SEM), web, and retail. Once the strategy has been set, you will work closely with the Senior Marketing Partners within Student Lending and other internal subject matter experts to help bring campaigns to market.

     

    This is a high-impact role that is critical to bringing campaigns to life and driving business growth. The ideal candidate has experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns in a variety of channels. In addition, the ideal candidate can point to examples of how they successfully balance multiple projects at once.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + In terms of specific channel support, you will be responsible for:

    + Direct Mail: Responsibilities include developing a matrix of all audiences, tests, and creative versions; conducting list and creative audits; partnering with direct mail agencies on campaign planning and delivery; developing creative with agency partners; managing compliance reviews; and maintaining a tracker of all direct mail creative versions across campaigns.

    + Web: Responsibilities include partnering with our Web Strategist, Student Banking Hub Pod (web), and Senior Marketing Partners to identify web updates and enhancements; developing new creative with our internal creative team; and managing compliance reviews.

    + Retail: Responsibilities include partnering with Retail Marketing and Senior Marketing Partners to identify retail opportunities for Student Lending and Student Banking; working with creative agencies to develop creative; collecting feedback from all relevant stakeholders; managing compliance reviews; and supporting the release and launch of those assets.

    + Digital Media: Responsibilities include partnering with Digital Media and Senior Marketing Partners to develop digital media assets (paid social, paid display, video); conducting periodic updates of SEM ads in partnership with Digital Media Strategist; managing compliance reviews; developing trafficking sheets to release assets to media partners.

    + Across all listed marketing channels, you will be responsible for:

    + Functioning as our go-to compliance lead: Citizens is committed to the highest standards of risk management and compliance. As a Marketing Partner, you will be our go-to lead with our advertising risk and compliance partners to ensure our marketing assets meet those high standards and that we are consistent with our creative approach.

    + Requesting and managing tracking links and redirects with our analytics, digital media, and web partners.

    + Working closely with our creative partners and other key stakeholders to stick to projected schedules.

    + Identifying potential dependencies or challenges that may impact the delivery of the work, and working with the Growth Strategist, Senior Marketing Partners, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues.

    + Support our Business Line and Sales team by providing marketing feedback on Sales collateral to ensure consistency across Sales and Marketing assets.

    + Support our Business Line with Citizens Scholarship needs, including web updates, list maintenance, and winner promotion.

    + Communicate with internal/external partners and vendors to ensure everyone understands responsibilities and delivering on action items, and deadlines.

    + Develop a quarterly Consumer Lending marketing snapshot in partnership with other marketing partners to be shared with senior leadership.

    Required Skills/Experience:

    + Minimum 3+ years of marketing or related experience.

    + Bachelor’s degree required.

    + Experience across a variety of marketing channels, which could include direct mail, social, SEM, web, or others.

    + Self-starter with proven ability to work collaboratively and efficiently.

    + Excellent communication skills.

    + Strong project management, prioritization, and decision-making skills.

    + Experience in financial services or education a plus but not required.

    Hours & Work Schedule:

    + Hours per Week: 40

    + Work Schedule: M-F (in-office at least 3 days per week)
