The Associate, Trust Operations (IRA Operations) supports the processing and administration of individual retirement account (IRA) transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. This role involves working with internal systems, following regulatory guidelines, and collaborating with team members to maintain high standards of service and operational integrity. Position will be working hybrid based in San Juan, PR.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
+ Process daily IRA transactions including distributions, contributions, rollovers, and transfer-in deposits.
+ Complete the transaction checklists (e.g., IRA Distribution Checklist, IRA Rollover Checklist) to validate transaction accuracy.
+ Submit processed transactions and balancing reports to the IRA Advisor or designee for approval.
+ Utilize systems such as NetX360 and Metavante for transaction validation and reporting.
+ Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
+ Maintain documentation and support audit readiness.
+ Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field required.
+ One (1) year of experience in administrative support preferred. Banking experience preferred.
+ Minimum education and experience required can be substituted with the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
+ Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), reporting systems and other business applications required.
+ Good written and verbal communication skills in Spanish & English required.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills, multitasking, and teamwork is required.
+ Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in work required.

+ Legally authorized to work in the US is required. This position is of indefinite duration and requires candidates to have permanent or ongoing work authorization.
