+ The Engineer SR position requires 10+ years of related experience and an accredited bachelor’s degree.

+ Responsible for applying engineering processes, design criteria, and software applications to design and construct power related systems.

+ Supports estimate preparation, develops design options, and prepares construction specifications.

+ Provide guidance, oversight, and quality assurance reviews for approved contractors as they develop design solutions, cost estimates, and construction packages.

Responsibilities:

+ Job responsibilities include creating a safe work environment by putting safety first, understand the process used for planning, design, operation, construction, and maintenance.

+ Understanding the functions and activities of various internal departments involved in design, construction, and maintenance.

+ Understanding design practices and work processes, using all software applications used in design, understanding industry and client design standards, supporting design standard and criteria development for the system.

+ Supporting construction and maintenance teams during day-to-day operations, estimating material for projects, transmitting construction packages and supporting specifications.

Skillsets:

+ Skillsets and expertise required for this position include advanced engineering knowledge.

+ Advanced problem-solving skills. Discretion making independent decisions based on procedure.

+ Advanced discipline software knowledge.

+ Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to build effective relationships with plant staff.

+ Design engineering staff and/or vendors. Engineer with previous experience working at client plant as a design engineer, system engineer, program engineer, maintenance engineer, or procurement engineer.

+ Previous experience in procurement engineering is preferred. Must be familiar with SNC engineering processes such as ABNs, ADCs, and Equivalency Evaluations.

+ Must be familiar with Maximo and D2 Applications.

Education:

+ Accredited bachelor’s degree.
