    Job Description Summary: MaineGeneral Health is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to join our experienced, collaborative pharmacy team at the Alfond Center for Health.     Job Description:

    What You’ll Do:

    + Evaluate medication orders to prevent, identify, and resolve drug-related problems

    + Provide clinical guidance and drug information to providers and care teams

    + Dispense and verify medications with accuracy, safety, and timeliness

    + Support efficient distribution of medications to patient care areas

    + Educate patients and staff on appropriate medication use and side effect management

    + Collaborate with providers and nurses to support evidence-based medication decisions and formulary compliance

    What You Bring:

    + Current Maine Pharmacist License or eligibility through reciprocity

    + Strong clinical reasoning and ability to assess complex medication regimens

    + Clear communication and collaboration skills with both providers and patients

    + A commitment to quality, safety, and patient-centered care

    + Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment
