The Senior Manager – Creative is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic vision, direction, and execution of all brand creative at Batteries Plus. This executive-level position leads the development of breakthrough creative that drives business growth, builds brand equity, and enhances the customer experience across all marketing channels and business units. A key leader within the Marketing organization, the Senior Manager partners with executive stakeholders, business unit leaders, and external agency teams to elevate the brand's visual identity and voice in the market.
This role requires a visionary thinker with deep experience in brand storytelling, omnichannel marketing, and team leadership, capable of inspiring creativity while delivering results. The Senior Manager – Creative is a key voice in shaping the brand's evolution and future-facing customer engagement strategies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Creative Strategy & Brand Stewardship
+ Own and evolve the holistic creative vision and brand expression across all touchpoints, ensuring consistency and clarity of message and design.
+ Serve as a key strategic partner to senior leadership in aligning creative direction with enterprise-wide business goals and consumer insights.
+ Lead the creative interpretation and execution of corporate initiatives, national campaigns, and brand transformations.
+ Oversee the integration of innovation and emerging technology (e.g., AI, automation, interactive content) into the creative process to increase impact and efficiency.
Integrated Campaign Design
+ Direct the concepting and development of best-in-class creative campaigns that span across digital, social, video, retail, out-of-home, and traditional media.
+ Champion data-driven storytelling that connects emotionally and rationally with target audiences across consumer and B2B segments.
+ Ensure all creative output aligns with marketing strategy, drives measurable outcomes, and is optimized for diverse platforms.
Creative Team Leadership
+ Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing in-house creative team and agency partners to deliver exceptional work under tight timelines and shifting priorities.
+ Build and manage an agile, scalable, creative infrastructure that can meet the growing demands of the business.
+ Foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, accountability, and continuous improvement within the creative function.
Operational Excellence and Cross-Functional Influence
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams-Digital, Retail, Commercial, eCommerce, and Franchise-to ensure creative alignment and execution across all consumer and partner touchpoints.
+ Oversee creative resource planning, budgeting, and prioritization to ensure high-impact delivery within scope and timeline.
+ Establish clear workflows, creative review structures, and success metrics that optimize speed, quality, and collaboration across departments.

+ Innovation & Change Agility: Leads creative innovation with a forward-thinking approach. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving change.
+ Talent Development: Builds and retains high-caliber creative talent; champions diversity of thought and background.
+ Operational Discipline: Drives results through strong process design, project management, and resource allocation.
Education and Experience
+ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field required. An advanced degree is a plus.
+ 10+ years of creative leadership experience, including 5+ years managing and scaling high-performing creative teams in a fast-paced environment.
+ Proven track record of building iconic brand campaigns and experiences across traditional and digital platforms.
+ Deep knowledge of brand strategy, design principles, and integrated marketing best practices.
+ Proficient in creative software (Adobe Creative Suite), collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office), and project management platforms (e.g., Asana).
+ Highly organized, resourceful, and effective in managing complex projects with competing priorities.
