Job Summary:
The Manager of Clinic Operations - OBGYN is responsible for the strategic, operational, and administrative leadership of obstetrics and gynecology clinic services within a multi-provider practice. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while optimizing clinic performance, workflow efficiency, provider productivity, and regulatory compliance. The manager serves as a key liaison between physicians, staff, patients, and senior leadership, driving continuous improvement initiatives that align with organizational goals, patient satisfaction, and clinical excellence. This position requires in-depth knowledge of women's health services, including prenatal care, gynecologic procedures, family planning, and reproductive health.
Responsibilities:
+ Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring efficient workflows, staffing coverage, and adherence to clinical protocols specific to OBGYN services.
+ Collaborate with OBGYN providers and nursing teams to maintain high standards of care, patient safety, and service delivery.
+ Manage scheduling processes for physicians, midwives, and support staff to ensure optimal patient access and provider productivity.
+ Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), patient volumes, and clinical outcomes to drive data-informed decision-making.
+ Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation of clinical and administrative staff.
+ Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies related to women's health services.
+ Partner with finance and revenue cycle teams to ensure accurate coding, billing, charge capture, and reimbursement for OBGYN procedures and visits.
+ Oversee supply chain and inventory management for medical equipment and consumables used in obstetric and gynecologic care.
+ Resolve patient concerns and operational issues in a timely and empathetic manner, promoting patient satisfaction and retention.
+ Implement quality improvement initiatives and support population health efforts related to maternal care, preventive screenings, and chronic condition management in female patients.
+ Coordinate with hospital departments, labs, imaging, and community resources to support continuity of care throughout the pregnancy and gynecologic treatment journey.
+ Develop and manage operating budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option.
Requirements:
+ Minimum Required Education: HS diploma or GED. Preferred Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
+ Required Licensure/Certification: Relevant life support certification as determined at position level.
+ Minimum Experience: 3 years of healthcare experience.
