    What You’ll Do

     

    You will provide assistance to patients in their home with Activities of Daily Living based on individual care plans.

     

    **Responsibilities may include** :

    + Personal care: hygiene, bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding

    + Home Management Tasks: light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, bed making

    + Medication reminders

    + Monitoring the patient's condition

    + Companion care Client interaction to improve quality of life

    + Assist with ambulation/Transfers/mechanical lift devices / range of motion exercises

    + Ability to understand and carry-out directions and instructions and maintain simple records

    HHA Qualifications

    + Minimum one year of verifiable work experience (does not have to be in the HHA field)

    + Successfully completion of a state approved HHA training course or vocational school program

    + Pass a Competency Examination

    + Submit to a criminal background check in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations

    + Be at least 18 years of age
