About the Role: Stamping Technician – 1st Shift (Mon–Fri, 7 am–3:30 pm)
We are looking for a **skilled Stamping Technician** to join our team, focusing on **innovative stamping technologies** and **high-speed progressive die operations** . You will play a key role in **building, conditioning, troubleshooting, and ramping up new dies into production** , ensuring our products launch with **world-class quality and efficiency** .
This role also involves **creating work instructions, training production personnel during die handoff, performing die and machine maintenance, and supporting tool design and tool making** . Some travel may be required.
What You’ll Be Doing:
+ Assemble and condition new dies to meet product specifications and ramp up to production speed.
+ Perform product changeovers as needed.
+ Inspect products using prints and standard manual and optical measuring equipment.
+ Lead projects for your assigned process area, supporting your team with technical guidance.
+ Provide technical training and assistance to production teams.
+ Sharpen, repair, and create close-tolerance tooling as needed.
+ Set up and operate stamping press work centers when needed.
+ Collaborate with team members across shifts to solve challenges and improve processes.
+ Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe, organized workspace.
What your background should look like:
+ **High school diploma or GED (required); Associate degree preferred.**
+ **7+ years of experience in high-speed progressive stamping.**
+ **7+ years of experience in tool making, die maintenance, and troubleshooting.**
+ Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program is a plus.
+ Deep understanding of progressive tool concepts, designs, and assembly.
+ Excellent math skills, especially in trigonometry.
+ Experience with AutoCAD and 3D modeling software is preferred.
+ Proficient in English, with strong communication skills.
+ Creative, open-minded, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience:$79,000 – $118,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
