    + The Analyst, Compensation is a member of the Global Compensation, Mobility, and People Support team within the People Division. This role supports the design, implementation, and administration of the company’s compensation programs. The Analyst takes a consultative approach to supporting business units, partnering closely with HR and operational leaders to provide strategic guidance, data-driven insights, and market-informed recommendations.

    What you'll do

    + Serves as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders on compensation matters, providing consultative support for hiring, promotions, organizational design, and compensation decisions

    + Performs compensation analyses and job evaluations to support business decisions and maintain internal equity.

    + Develops and delivers clear, data-driven compensation recommendations tailored to specific business contexts

    + Assists with annual compensation processes, including merit planning, salary structure adjustments, and incentive plan administration

    + Participates in salary surveys and uses market data to price jobs and benchmark compensation practices against the external market.

    + Contributes to the development and refinement of pay structures and compensation models

    + Conducts develops and maintains job descriptions, and ensures alignment with internal structures and market benchmarks

    + Prepares reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses to inform decision-making and track compensation trends

    + Creates one-page learning tools, presentation materials, and communications to explain compensation programs and updates to business audiences

    + Participates in compensation-related system testing, process improvements, and policy development

    + Ensures compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to compensation

    + Ability to travel to represent the Company at airline industry conferences or to meet/work with Compensation and Human Resource counterparts, as needed

     

    All you'll need for success

    Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

    + Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience/training

    + 3+ years of experience in Compensation, Finance, or similar analytical role

    + Prior experience managing multiple projects concurrently while providing strong customer service

    Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

    + Experience presenting to leadership

    + Familiarity with operational environments (e.g., airport, maintenance, flight operations

    Skills, Licenses & Certifications

    + Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.

    + Effective communicator with ability to translate data into actionable insights

    + Work experience in analytical role

    + Advanced Excel skills

    + High level of professionalism, discretion and objectivity

    + Ability to apply appropriate judgment and discretion in completing work assignments to ensure confidentiality of employee compensation data

    + Detail-oriented with ability to work in fast-paced environment
