Position Title: RN

Department: Cardiac Cath Lab, Davenport East Campus

32 hours per week, mainly first shift plus call!

Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Cath Lab! As an RN at MercyOne, you will:

+ Provide and direct safe, effective, and culturally-competent care for adult patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures

+ Key accountabilities include assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care using critical thinking and evidenced-based practice

+ Adherence to Professional Practice Standards as defined by ANA

+ Active participation in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities

+ During procedures, the nurse will function in one of three roles with distinct competencies applied to each role: circulating nurse, scrub nurse, or recorder

General Requirements:

+ Education: Associate's Degree

+ Field Of Study: Nursing

+ Special Training: ACLS within 6 months; Basic Life Support.

+ Training Preferred: Cardiovascular or critical care experience

+ Licensure/Registration: Registered Nurse in Iowa

+ Experience: More than 6 months preferred
