Job Description
A client is seeking an Operations/Transportation Analyst to sit in New Brunswick. As the Operations Analyst, you will act as a liaison to the Global Transportation & Trade Operations Organization and your supported Operating Company (OPCO). You will oversee and manage the OPCOs transportation network to ensure optimal service levels for both shippers and receivers, addressing tactical issues on an exception basis. Additionally, you will provide insights and analysis to support strategic transportation supply chain requirements. You will coordinate the specified GTTO transportation services as desired and selected by OPCO from RTO menu of core competencies (i.e. inbound freight management, outbound freight management, strategic transportation analysis, compliance, claims, freight payment, import/export services, deviations, etc.) You will also play a key role in developing, implementing, and reporting on performance metrics, participating in periodic reviews with the supported OPCO to demonstrate progress on jointly developed cost improvement programs and budget adherence.

Skills and Requirements
A bachelors degree in business, logistics, or a related field
Hybrid work schedule - three days a week onsite at the New Brunswick office
3-5 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain or Operations
Outstanding time management and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills and advanced knowledge of Excel
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage complexity while prioritizing urgent business needs General knowledge of the U.S. transportation industry, networks, or related Supply Chain functions is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new responsibilities, develop business partnerships, and work collaboratively with external partners and internal teams to identify requirements and meet needs.
Proven track record of successfully leading improvement initiatives and proactively identifying and driving business priorities.
Adept at resolving technical and supply chain challenges through innovative solutions.
Strong data analysis, process improvement, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, with a technological aptitude in Microsoft Office Suite and proficiency in Power BI or similar visual analytics tools.
Well-organized with exceptional multitasking abilities, capable of working effectively in high-stress environments.
Team-oriented, collaborative, and able to work independently; self-motivated with a proactive approach to challenges and a willingness to challenge the status quo. null
