    The Sourcing Specialist-VSP is responsible for interviewing candidates for both hourly and salaried roles. The Sourcing Specialist-VSP demonstrates a thorough understanding of departmental, segment, and organizational strategies and objectives, including how they connect to related functions. Assignments in this role are diverse and often require interpretation and independent judgment to determine the most suitable course of action.

     

    * _This role is part of the Variable Staffing Pool (VSP). Variable Staffing Pool Humana associates work part to full time hours based on business need. VSPs are not eligible for associate bonuses and receive limited benefits, which are effective upon hire. The hours for this role are generally aligned based on the associate and business task at hand. This is an hourly paid position._

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Conduct initial candidate screenings via phone or digital platforms to assess qualifications and alignment to role requirements

    + Administer and manage pre-hire assessments and questionnaires

    + Schedule interviews, including coordinating availability between candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers

    + Collaborate with full-cycle recruiters to keep requisitions moving through the hiring process

    + Communicate with candidates to provide updates, respond to inquiries, and ensure a positive candidate experience

    + Support the offer process by assisting with documentation, salary inputs, and administrative steps

    + Assist with additional recruiting projects or administrative support as assigned

    Required Qualifications

    + Minimum of 1-3 years of experience sourcing passive candidates

    + Proven experience utilizing career platforms, particularly LinkedIn and Indeed

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and strong aptitude for learning new systems and databases

    + Demonstrated ability to develop and implement research, sourcing, and talent mapping strategies

    + Experience presenting information and insights to leadership

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Bachelors Degree

    + Knowledge of physician recruiting industry resources and tools

    + Recruiting experience in the healthcare industry

    + Workday experience and/or previous experience using formalized applicant tracking systems

    Pay Range

    The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

     

    $71,100 - $97,800 per year
