Job Description:
The Client Service, Ancillary Services & Rehab Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for the Client Service, Pharmacy, Laboratory, and Rehab & Sports Medicine departments. This role ensures high-quality support services, clinical efficiency, and a positive client and patient experience. The Manager will spend 30–40% of their time on the floor, actively supporting staff, resolving issues, and improving real-time workflow and communication across teams. The Manager will provide department leadership; perform formal employee coaching and development, strategic improvement and delegate duties and responsibilities of departmental staff as needed. They will also assist in providing quality, compassionate care for all our clients and patients.
The Client and Ancillary Services Manager must have good communication skills and a strong professional relationship with all staff to perform the work as delegated and produce quality results. An intimate knowledge of the day-to-day functions of the department, patient care and client service skills are a must. This position requires a dependable, high-energy person who can handle multiple tasks at one time as well as a high stress environment.

Job Duties:

Essential Functions:
+ Maintains a 30% or greater presence on the clinical floor to ensure that the team is adequately supported.
+ Core competencies: Team building, performance improvement, communication, systems thinking, negotiation, multitasking and financial acumen.
+ Operationally and administratively accountable for the staff of the Client and Ancillary Services teams.
+ Identifies and articulates the vision and strategic direction for the discipline of the Client Service and Ancillary Service teams and collaborates on the implementation of operational strategies/initiatives to achieve them.
+ Promotes and utilizes a client centered approach within their department while keeping the best interest of the patient in mind.
+ Works with the Director of Client Experience and Ancillary Services to implement and maintain strategies to promote the recruitment, retention and recognition of excellence in assigned departments, including overnight and recommendations regarding compensation and benefit programs for staff.
+ Staffing: maintains staffing and scheduling to complete the goals of the Client Service and Ancillary support teams.
+ Leads in the planning, implementation and evaluation of new protocols and processes, assuring appropriate resources for the delivery of care.
+ Creates win-win solutions among diverse needs and expectations.
+ Possesses excellent client service and relationship development skills.
+ Participates as an active member of departmental leadership team.
+ Maintains knowledge of current trends and legal requirements in areas of responsibility by reading journals, newsletters and attending education meetings.
+ Works with the Director of Client Experience and Ancillary Services to develop annual departmental and capital budgets, monitor and analyzes ongoing performance and productivity and implement necessary corrective plans.
+ Maintains department records and files.
+ Serves on internal and external work groups, committees and agencies as appropriate.
+ Maintains knowledge of principles and processes for providing exceptional client services. This includes evaluating client needs, meeting quality standards, providing exceptional client experience and evaluation of client satisfaction. Works in tandem with the Neurology and Surgery technical supervisors and managers to ensure all team members are meeting standards in client service.
+ Performs other responsibilities as requested by the Director of Client Experience and Ancillary Services.
Qualifications:
+ Education: High School diploma is required, Associate's degree (A. A.) or Bachelors is preferred; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education / experience.
+ Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing teams in a veterinary or clinical setting. Prior experience in multiple service areas such as client service, pharmacy, lab or rehab preferred.
+ Adapts positively to ever-changing healthcare environments supporting technology and process changes.
+ Ability to manage multiple teams while balancing strategic initiatives and day-to-day needs.
+ Ability to empathize with others and demonstrate a values based work style.
+ Must possess excellent listening and interpersonal skills and problem-solving methods.
+ Must be able to work varying hours as required.
+ Must have basic computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.

+ Adapts positively to the ever-changing healthcare environment by supporting technology and process changes.
+ Ability to empathize with others and demonstrate a values-based work style is required.

+ Must have basic computer skills including working knowledge office software.
+ Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus!
