    Our client, a leading player in the financial services industry, is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team. As a Business Analyst, you will be part of a very fast-paced department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Experience with Capital Markets asset classes/products such as Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities, Derivatives, etc. is a big plus.

    **Job Title:** Business Analyst

    **Location:** Charlotte, NC (Hybrid, 3x/week in office)

    **Pay Range:** $55/hr W2 - all candidates must be able to work on Experis' W2

     

    (due to client rules we are unable to work with 3rd party subcontractors)

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Engage with business and technology stakeholders on a number of concurrently-run projects

    + Map current-state processes and design future-state workflows for projects / POCs

    + Author and maintain BRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria with clarity and minimal rework

    + Facilitate requirements workshops and walkthroughs; drive decisions and close open items promptly

    + Coordinate hand-offs between business, UX/UI, and engineering teams; track deliverables and manage follow-up rigorously

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field

    + 5+ years of Business Analysis experience and having worked in highly-visible, fast-paced environments

    + Proven ability to author comprehensive BRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria

    + Proficiency with process-mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart) and collaboration platforms (Confluence, Jira)

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    + Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
