• Accounting Specialist

    Our client, a leader in the accounting industry, is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their team. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be part of the finance department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a keen attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Accounting Specialist

    **Location:** Iron Mountain, MI

     

    Pay Range: $18.50/hr to $22/hr

     

    **Shift:** 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Process customer invoices in the ERP system (Syteline).

    + Submit invoicing through customers' billing portals.

    + Calculate and process weekly per diem travel requirements for the service team.

    + Request freight payment approvals and code freight payments against jobs.

    + Work with customers to resolve past due invoices and maintain electronic filing systems.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Associate’s degree in accounting is preferred.

    + Minimum two years of office experience, preferably one year in accounting.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

    + Experience with ERP software (SyteLine is a plus).

    + Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
