    Position Summary:

    Performs accurate documentation of cases for the department.

     

    Reports to: Manager

     

    FLSA: Non-exempt

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    *Monitors and interprets patient heart rhythm and documents on patient record per department standards.*

    *Maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and equipment.*

    *Troubleshoots monitors with nursing staff and contacts Clinical Engineering as appropriate.*

    *Cleans, disinfects, and stores leads and telemetry units. Replaces defective equipment and reports failures to Clinical Engineering.*

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    *Minimum Education*

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Associate's degree (Preferred)

    *Years of relevant experience may be substituted for required education.

    *Required Skills*

    Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

    Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)

    *Minimum Work Experience*

    1 year related experience (Preferred)
