The AWS Finance team provides end-to-end financial support for the largest and most successful cloud service provider in the world. The Global Infrastructure Supply Chain finance team is responsible for supporting one of the largest and most complicated supply chains in the world. This team is responsible for providing financial leadership as we design, source, manufacturing, assemble, deploy, and ultimately retire equipment enabling $100B+ of dollars of revenue. Supply Chain Finance is seeking a Finance Manager to drive results through mechanism development and execution. In this role, the leader will help drive supply chain decisions related to inventory turns and minimizing obsolescence. They will help optimize procurement and manufacturing processes, and will help drive improvements in forecast accuracy.
Key job responsibilities
Drive reporting for supply chain inventory and help drive insights that drive the business.
Identify opportunities for process improvement.
Size the value of costs supporting inventory and obsolescence and recommend optimal outcomes.
Partner with a variety of business teams and cross-Finance to enable a unified vision and strategy on inventory.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
