    About the Role…

     

    This is a senior leadership role for a dynamic marketer and business builder who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments. You will lead all aspects of marketing, including brand strategy, product development, innovation, P&L ownership, and team leadership. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, R&D, Quality, and Operations to execute business strategies with excellence.

    The Brand Team is a dynamic group of innovative thinkers who work hard to bring the Beech-Nut brand to life. The team is responsible for connecting the brand purpose to business strategy through marketing plan development and activation, content creation and communications, consumer research and analytics, and new product innovations. The team works diligently to understand what parents want and need so we can deliver high quality, safe, and nutritious foods for babies and toddlers to grow and thrive!

    About the Work Environment…

     

    This position is remote, but the individual will be expected to spend time at the Beech-Nut headquarters in Amsterdam, NY on an agreed upon frequence (1-2 times per month).

     

    When collaborating at the office, this position is located at the Amsterdam, New York LEED® certified production facility. Job functions are performed in a well-lit, environmentally controlled office environment.

     

    What You’ll Do…

     

    Build and Evolve the Brand

     

    + Develop and execute purpose-driven brand strategies rooted in deep consumer insight

    + Position the brand to win through clear, compelling messaging and positioning

    + Lead integrated, full-funnel marketing planning across media, retail, digital, and influencer

    + Steward the brand voice and equity across all consumer touchpoints

     

    Own Business Performance

     

    + Deliver sales, share, and profit goals

    + Take full ownership of P&L

    + Lead business planning & forecasting: manage full-year business plan for Infant & Toddler segments, including monthly updates through S&OP process

    + Manages advertising & promotion budget

     

    Lead Innovation, Product Development, & Commercialization

     

    + Identify unmet consumer needs and create opportunities for new product development

    + Manage new product ideas through the stage gate process

    + Collaborate with key functional partners to ensure successful commercialization

    + Translate consumer insights, market trends, and campaign data into actionable marketing strategies with measurable impact.

     

    Consumer Insights & Analytics

     

    + Analyze market and competitor performance and develop

    + Collaborate with Sales & Category Insights team members to create customer-facing stories using retail and consumer data (Circana, Retailer data)

    + Activate in-store and online programs that convert awareness into trial and repeat

    + Oversee customer marketing & in-store programs to drive trial and conversion at key retail partners

     

    Functional & Organizational Leadership

     

    + Provide clear leadership and direction to brand marketing team (min. 2 Brand Managers)

    + Develop Marketing talent on the brand team through clear objective setting, performance feedback, and day-to-day coaching

    + Work with Executive Leadership Team to assist in development of 3 year strategic plan

    What You’ll Need…

     

    + 8+ years of progressive marketing and brand management experience in CPG

    + Snack, food, beverage, or health/wellness preferred

    + Solid experience in developing and implementing Brand Building strategies

    + Proven success in new product development / launches

    + P&L ownership and strong commercial acumen

    + Expertise in building and leading cross-functional teams

    + Highly analytical with the ability to convert data into action

    + Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills

    + Exceptional execution skills and process orientation

    + Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for speed, ownership, and adaptability

    Pay: The annual base salary range for this hybrid role is $160,000 - $180,000. This is a salaried-exempt position.
