• Teacher-Visually Impaired (.50 FTE)

    BASIC FUNCTION:

    Provide instructional and modified materials for visually impaired students.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Assessment, development of curriculum, instruction and evaluation of children who are visually impaired and enrolled in regular and/or special education programs.

    Job Qualifications

    + New York State certification as Teacher of the Visually Impaired

    + Experience with visually impaired children in a school setting.

     

    The selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint supported criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001.
