    Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in New York, New York. This role is ideal for someone who excels in managing financial transactions and has a strong understanding of accounts payable processes.     Responsibilities:

    • Process and manage approximately 15-20 invoices weekly, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

    • Record journal entries and post transactions to the general ledger to maintain accurate financial records.

    • Support the finance team with accounts payable and bookkeeping-related projects.

    • Handle daily cash receipts and reconcile accounts as needed.

    • Utilize Navision software to complete financial tasks and ensure data integrity. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and bookkeeping processes.

    • Proficiency in using Navision or similar accounting software.

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data.

    • Ability to handle daily cash receipts and reconcile discrepancies effectively.

    • Experience with data entry and maintaining organized financial records.

    • Familiarity with general ledger and journal entry processes.

    • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
