Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Financial Specialist to join our team in Stockton, California. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles to support decision-making and maintain transparency. Must have at least 4 years of accounting experience and excellent knowledge of General Ledger.
Responsibilities:
• Review and post accounts payable entries to ensure accurate bookkeeping.
• Monitor accounts receivable and cash receipt entries, confirming proper documentation and posting.
• Conduct cash reconciliations to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Regularly review General Ledger accounts for accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
• Reclassify General Ledger entries as necessary to maintain accurate financial records.
• Process bus pass orders efficiently while adhering to established procedures.
• Provide detailed financial analyses and reports to support organizational decision-making.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to financial policies and accounting practices.
• Maintain thorough documentation of financial transactions to facilitate audits and reporting.
• Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting roles.
• Strong proficiency in General Ledger management and reconciliation.
• Expertise in handling accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and applicable standards.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with 10-key data entry and financial software systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
