Description We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team in Santa Ana, California. This leadership role requires an individual with expertise in construction accounting, strategic financial planning, and team management. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted financial partner, providing insights that drive operational success and long-term business growth.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee the financial operations of multiple branches, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Develop and implement strategic financial plans that support business objectives and enhance profitability.
• Manage all aspects of construction accounting, including job costing and financial reporting.
• Build strong relationships with banking institutions to support cash flow and capital management.
• Supervise month-end close processes, accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and budgeting activities.
• Collaborate with senior business leaders to translate financial data into actionable insights and operational strategies.
• Provide forecasting and analysis to support decision-making and long-term planning.
• Directly manage and mentor the finance team, fostering growth and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and effective auditing practices.
• Partner with private equity stakeholders to meet reporting requirements and drive financial transparency. Requirements • Minimum of 15 years of experience in financial leadership roles, with a focus on construction accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems, including 3M and CRM tools.
• Strong knowledge of cash flow analysis, budgeting processes, and strategic financial planning.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple branches and manage diverse teams.
• Expertise in capital management and building relationships with banking institutions.
• Experience with financial reporting, auditing, and compliance standards.
• Skilled in translating complex financial data into business strategies.
• Familiarity with ADP financial services and other business systems.
