    Position Overview:

    The Senior Accountant role offers a blend of technical accounting, financial reporting, and process optimization, ideal for seasoned professionals looking to advance their careers in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This hybrid position provides flexibility while emphasizing teamwork and consistent on-site collaboration.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.

    + Cost Accounting: Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, and overhead allocation to enhance profitability.

    + ERP System Expertise: Manage and utilize ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) for accurate journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting processes.

    + Budgets & Forecasts: Collaborate with operational teams to develop budgets and conduct variance analyses.

    + Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls and assist with external audit preparations, including compliance reporting.

    + Process Improvement: Identify and implement strategies to streamline accounting processes and boost operational efficiencies.

    + Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior staff accountants and assist in their professional development.

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

    + 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.

    + Proficiency with ERP software and advanced Excel capabilities.

    + Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
