    Robert Half Finance & Accounting (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA)


    Description We are looking for an experienced Director of Accounting to oversee financial operations for the Americas region, based in Rancho Santa Margarita, California. This role is pivotal in managing accounting processes, regulatory compliance, and financial planning across multiple entities within the organization.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and supervise the accounting department, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all financial operations.

    • Oversee the budget preparation and forecasting processes, providing strategic insights to guide financial decisions.

    • Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring timely and precise reporting.

    • Participate in organizational planning activities, contributing to the development and execution of long-term financial strategies.

    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards across all entities within the region.

    • Establish, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial integrity.

    • Manage treasury operations, including cash flow monitoring and optimizing financial resources. Requirements • Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or finance leadership roles.

    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.

    • Proficiency with month-end close processes and financial reporting.

    • Hands-on experience with BlackLine or similar accounting software.

    • Expertise in financial statement audits and regulatory compliance.

    • Strong understanding of annual and international financial reporting standards.

    • Proven ability to oversee complex financial operations and manage multiple entities.
