    Responsibilities

    The Vice President, Sales and Innovation leads our efforts in identifying, developing, and implementing strategies that drive significant and sustainable growth for our Home Health, Hospice, and Palliative Care service lines. This role is critical in shaping the future of CommonSpirit Health at Home by fostering a culture of growth, innovation, exploring new market opportunities, and optimizing existing business models. This role will be a key member of the executive

     

    leadership team, reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer.

     

    + Strategic Leadership:

    + Develop and execute a comprehensive growth, innovation and sales strategy aligned with the company's overall vision and objectives.

    + Identify and evaluate emerging market trends, technologies, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making.

    + Lead the development of new products, services, and business models that address unmet customer needs as well as gaps in transitions of care, and drive revenue growth.

    + Collaborate with other executive leaders to integrate growth and innovation initiatives across all departments.

    + Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sales performance, effectiveness, market adequacy, identify areas for improvement, and ensure accountability.

    + Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment.

    + Collaborate with other departments, including operations, clinical, marketing, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and alignment of goals.

    + Innovation Management:

    + Foster a company-wide culture of growth and innovation by promoting appropriate disruption, risk-taking, and continuous improvement.

    + Establish and manage an innovation pipeline, from ideation to implementation, ensuring a steady flow of new ideas and initiatives.

    + Develop and implement processes for identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing innovation opportunities.

    + Oversee the allocation of resources to support innovation projects, including budget, personnel, and technology.

    + Build and maintain relationships with external partners, such as startups, research institutions, and venture capital firms, to leverage external expertise and resources.

    + Identify and evaluate potential growth opportunities, including new markets, customer segments, and product lines.

    + Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and services.

    + Lead market research and analysis to understand customer needs, competitive dynamics, and market trends.

    + Oversee the development and implementation of marketing and sales strategies to drive revenue growth.

    + Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress against growth targets and identify areas for improvement.

    + Sales Team Leadership:

    + Build and lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

    + Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback and development opportunities to team members.

    + Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.

    + Recruit, hire, train, and onboard new sales team members.

    + Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.

    + Motivate and inspire the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.

    + Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and industry expertise.

    + Business Development & Relationship Management:

    + Identify and cultivate relationships with key referral sources, including physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and other healthcare providers.

    + Develop and implement targeted outreach programs to increase referrals and expand market share.

    + Represent the company at industry events, conferences to promote services and build relationships.

    + Negotiate and manage contracts with referral sources and other partners.

    + Maintain a strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, including regulatory requirements, reimbursement models, and industry best practices.

    + Sales Operations & Reporting:

    + Oversee the development and implementation of sales processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

    + Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities, manage leads, and generate reports.

    + Analyze sales and referral data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

    + Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.

    + Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

    Qualifications

    Candidates must reside in one of the approved remote worker states: AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, MI, NC, ND, NE, NJ, OH, SC, TN, TX, UT, WA, WI.

     

    + Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

    + 10+ years of experience in sales, growth strategy, innovation, product development, or a related healthcare field.

    + Proven track record of developing and implementing successful growth strategies that have resulted in significant revenue growth.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights.

    + Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

    + Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build and motivate a high-performing team.

    + Experience working in the Home Health and Hospice environment is highly desirable.

    + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    + Passion for innovation and a desire to make a significant impact on the company's future.

     

    Willingness to travel up to 50%

    Pay Range

    $71.73 - $93.25 /hour
