    Description We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. This Contract to long-term position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about maintaining accurate financial records while ensuring seamless payment processes. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle full-cycle accounts payable responsibilities and collaborate effectively with vendors and internal teams.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice coding, approvals, and payments.

    • Perform regular check runs and process Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments to ensure timely disbursements.

    • Reconcile accounts to maintain accurate financial records and address discrepancies promptly.

    • Handle vendor management tasks, including communication, payment inquiries, and maintaining vendor files.

    • Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop to record transactions and manage accounts payable workflows.

    • Process credit card payments and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.

    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate account coding and adherence to financial policies.

    • Monitor and improve accounts payable procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.

    • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.

    • Provide support for audits by preparing relevant documentation and reports. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable, including full-cycle processing.

    • Strong knowledge of account coding and invoice handling.

    • Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and check runs.

    • Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop for financial management.

    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Ability to manage vendor relationships effectively and professionally.

    • Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

    • Experience with credit card payment processing and reconciliation.
