Description We are looking for a dependable Legal Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Evanston, Illinois. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced legal environment and has excellent organizational skills. The position involves managing client communications, scheduling, and ensuring accurate documentation in case management systems.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule client appointments, depositions, and court hearings.

• Maintain accurate records of court dates and other legal proceedings within case management software.

• Prepare and send form discovery documents and legal notices to relevant parties.

• Handle inbound calls and provide clear and effective communication with clients and stakeholders.

• Ensure all case-related files and documentation are consistently updated and organized.

• Utilize Mac computers effectively to support daily administrative tasks.

• Collaborate with the legal team to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently. Requirements • Proven experience as a legal assistant or in a similar administrative role.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proficiency in case management software and scheduling tools.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

• Familiarity with Mac computers is preferred.

• Prior experience in legal discovery processes is a plus.
