    Robert Half Lexington is looking for a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join a warehouse team in Frankfort, Kentucky. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a regulated industry where accuracy, organization, and compliance are essential.     Responsibilities:

    • Accurately sort, count, label, and cross-check inventory items against provided SKUs.

    • Organize incoming supplies with management-generated labels and ensure proper storage on shelves, bags, or pallets.

    • Maintain strict compliance with firearms industry regulations while handling inventory.

    • Regularly utilize Excel spreadsheets to cross-check inventory and ensure accuracy.

    • Perform manual inventory tasks such as sorting, bagging, tagging, and organizing items.

    • Safely lift and move items up to 25 lbs., coordinating team lifts for heavier objects.

    • Participate in daily planning meetings to prepare for upcoming tasks and ensure smooth operations.

    • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain appropriate attire suitable for an air-conditioned warehouse.

    • Collaborate effectively with team members and management to achieve inventory goals.

     

    Requirements • Proven attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

     

    • Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

    • Familiarity with Excel for inventory management and cross-checking SKUs.

    • Physical capability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, sorting, and labeling.

    • Knowledge of or willingness to learn compliance standards specific to the firearms industry.

    • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and task execution.

    • Reliability and punctuality with a proactive approach to work responsibilities.
