Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk for our client in Gonzales, Louisiana. In this position, you will play a vital role in managing financial transactions, ensuring the accuracy of accounts, and supporting the overall cash flow of the organization. This opportunity is a short-term contract to full time position and is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts receivable transactions to ensure accurate and timely recording.

• Handle commercial collections by following up with clients on outstanding invoices.

• Apply cash payments to customer accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

• Monitor and track cash collections to maintain a steady flow of receivables.

• Prepare and execute billing functions, including generating and distributing invoices.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounts receivable operations.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze financial data effectively.

• Communicate professionally with clients to address payment issues and inquiries.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounts receivable processes, including cash applications and collections.

• Familiarity with commercial collections and billing procedures.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks.

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.

• Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in financial transactions.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
