Key Responsibilities
+ Financial Oversight: Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
+ Month-End and Year-End Close: Lead and oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial reports are completed accurately and on time.
+ Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP and any applicable regulatory standards.
+ Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning initiatives.
+ Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor accounting staff, promoting professional development and a high-performance culture.
+ Audits and Compliance: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring the company adheres to compliance requirements.
+ System and Process Improvements: Evaluate and enhance existing accounting systems and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
+ Vendor and Stakeholder Relations: Maintain strong relationships with vendors, auditors, and other external partners.
Requirements
Qualifications
+ Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
+ Experience: Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including prior supervisory or management responsibilities.
+ Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills. Experience with ERP implementations is a plus.
+ Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP, financial compliance standards, and internal controls.
+ Leadership: Proven ability to manage and develop a team while driving a culture of teamwork and accountability.
+ Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
