• HR Process Mapping Engineer

    Description

    Robert Half/Protiviti is currently looking for an HR Professional/Consultant, experienced with HR Process Mapping to support a long-term client engagement. This role involves partnering with the client's HR leadership to analyze, document, and improve critical processes across the employee lifecycle. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in management consulting, or will have supported HR process improvement efforts in large corporate environments. This is a 100% remote contract role, expected to last about 1 year with the potential for extensions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with HR leadership to map out and analyze current workflows covering recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation, and offboarding.

    • Develop high-quality process maps using tools like Lucidchart to visualize and optimize HR workflows.

    • Conduct discovery sessions and interviews to gather insights from HR teams and cross-functional departments such as IT, Legal, and Finance.

    • Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to streamline processes and enhance operational performance.

    • Ensure process documentation complies with organizational standards and supports system integrations.

    • Maintain a centralized repository of process maps to ensure version control and accessibility.

    • Facilitate change management initiatives by creating clear and actionable visual representations of process changes.

    • Support automation efforts and identify opportunities for system enhancements to improve HR operations.

    • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR operations, process improvement, business transformation, or management consulting roles.

    • Proficiency in process mapping tools like Lucidchart and the Lucid Suite.

    • Strong understanding of HR systems such as Workday, SuccessFactors, or similar platforms.

    • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex workflows in a clear and concise manner.

    • Proven ability to collaborate with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

    • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.

    • Analytical mindset with a focus on identifying gaps and driving efficiency improvements.
