    This Controller role partners closely with the VP of Finance as their right hand 🖐️. Here’s what you’ll own:

     

    1️⃣ Manage Financial Inputs – Ensure all data flows accurately to the financial statements.

     

    2️⃣ Mentor and grow your team, providing guidance and support. 🌱

     

    • Key Duties:

    + Oversee accounts payable coding to align with cost centers and methodology.

    + Manage reconciliations through month-end close, digging deep to resolve issues. 🔍

    + Analyze financial statements for imbalances and perform variance analysis to flag trends or anomalies. 📊

    + Conduct profitability analysis and provide actionable insights.

    + Own the Call Report (experience required). 🙌

    + Bring fresh ideas to optimize processes, improve efficiencies, and ensure best practices.

    • What You Need:

    + BS in Accounting (CPA preferred)

    + 7+ years of hands-on, well-rounded accounting experience.

    Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

     

    • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in financial management and reporting.

    • Strong expertise in preparing and analyzing financial statements and reconciliations.

    • Proficient in conducting variance analysis and identifying financial trends.

    • Familiarity with call report preparation and regulatory compliance.

    • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing teams.

    • Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement effective process improvements.

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
