Description

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Payment Poster Specialist to join their team in Raritan Township, New Jersey. In this long-term contract position, you will play a crucial role in managing medical payment postings and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic healthcare environment while utilizing your expertise in payment processing.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately post payments to patient accounts while adhering to established guidelines.

• Review and reconcile medical payment records to ensure all transactions are properly documented.

• Utilize Epaces software for efficient payment processing and account management.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payment postings to maintain accurate financial data.

• Collaborate with billing and collections teams to streamline payment workflows.

• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.

• Generate detailed reports on payment activities and financial performance.

• Assist in the development of processes to improve payment posting efficiency.

Requirements • Proven experience in medical payment posting within a healthcare setting.

• Proficiency in using Epaces software for payment processing.

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in managing financial records.

• Familiarity with healthcare billing and payment workflows.

• Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies effectively.

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members.

• Knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
