+ Process accurate and timely billing for freight rates, mileage, fuel surcharges, container drayage fees, and other accessorial charges.

+ Verify and review invoices, Bills of Lading (BOLs), Proofs of Delivery (PODs), and port documentation for accuracy and compliance.

+ Efficiently resolve billing discrepancies and customer disputes in a professional and approachable manner.

+ Adapt quickly to new billing systems, transportation management tools, and industry requirements.

+ Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in interactions with drivers, customers, port personnel, and internal team members.

+ Use software tools like Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and billing platforms (e.g., McLeod, TruckMate TMW, or QuickBooks) to complete tasks effectively.

+ Organize and prioritize responsibilities to meet competing deadlines without sacrificing accuracy.

Qualifications:

+ Experience: At least 1+ years of billing or accounting experience in the trucking, transportation, or logistics industry.

+ Skills: Strong mathematical and analytical abilities, coupled with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

+ Work Style: Self-motivated, independent worker who thrives in a steady and structured work environment.

+ Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with transportation or billing software systems such as McLeod, TMW, or QuickBooks.

+ Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional and courteous interactions are a priority.

+ Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Additional certifications or coursework in Accounting, Business, or Logistics are a plus.

+ Preferred Knowledge: Basic familiarity with trucking and logistics terminology is helpful but not mandatory.
