    Robert Half Accountemps (East York, PA)


    Description We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in East York, Pennsylvania. This is a Long-term Contract position, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys managing financial and administrative tasks with precision. The role offers flexibility in scheduling, with core business hours from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain accurate financial records by managing bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks Online.

    • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, utilizing tools such as Bill.com, Salesforce, and Stripe.

    • Prepare and process expense reports and ensure timely reconciliation of bank statements.

    • Generate financial reports and assist in budget tracking to support organizational decision-making.

    • Collaborate with external payroll vendors to ensure accurate payroll processing, including multistate payroll taxes and workers' compensation.

    • Assist in maintaining employee documentation, including the employee handbook and contractor process guidelines.

    • Support employee onboarding and benefits administration to ensure smooth integration into the organization.

    • Oversee organizational document control, ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of key business records.

    • Provide additional administrative support as required to meet the needs of the business. Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial management.

    • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and familiarity with other financial tools such as Bill.com, Salesforce, and Stripe.

    • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.

    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

    • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members.

    • Experience with payroll processing and understanding of multistate payroll regulations.

    • Familiarity with employee onboarding and benefits administration.

    • High level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information.
