Description We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design and implement comprehensive data solutions within an Azure environment. This role involves creating and maintaining data pipelines, optimizing data integration processes, and ensuring robust performance for advanced analytics and reporting. The ideal candidate will collaborate across teams to deliver scalable solutions that align with organizational objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement data models optimized for reporting, including denormalized structures and star schemas.
• Develop and manage Azure Data Factory pipelines to integrate and transform data from various sources.
• Ensure data solutions are scalable, high-performing, and meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
• Optimize query performance and data processing efficiency within Azure technologies.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for pipeline management, deployments, and version control.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Implement data security best practices to maintain compliance with regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members with less experience.
• Lead the creation of reference materials and establish best practices for data architecture. Requirements • Minimum of 10 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, and database development.
• At least 5 years of experience with cloud-based data solutions, such as Azure or similar platforms.
• Proven track record of leading data-driven projects from inception to completion.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft SQL, Azure Cloud, and Azure Data Factory.
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles and modern data warehouse development.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for managing pipelines and version control.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve issues.
